The Met Gala was on May 2, 2016 at the Metropolitan of Art Costume institute in New York and here are our thoughts on the outfits!
Best:
Emma Robert’s dress is absolutely gorgeous! Its simplicity and color really makes this dress stand out! The cuffs on her arms and the black clutch are nice touch. Also, her hair, as always, is adorable! We really loved this look on Emma, it suits her!
Worst:
Would you like some zit cream with that dress? Sorry, but we did not like this dress! It looks like there’s a bunch of pimples on this. Don’t get us wrong, Queen B is definitely flawless, just not with this dress.
Best:
Claire Danes totally looks like Cinderella in this, and we love it! She rocks this silhouette and the color is wonderful on her! Not to mention the fact that the dress lights up! This is definitely one of our faves!
Worst:
Zoe Saldana wore this dress at the Met Gala and honestly it would have been okay, if it didn’t have so many feathers! Not to be mean, but she kinda looks like a peacock and its not the best look. This was not our least favorite, but we weren’t a fan.Sorry!
Best:
We really loved this unique, mosaic, dress! The colors work great on her and the cut-outs on the side are definitely stunning! Kendall Jenner looks gorgeous, as always! You go girl!
Worst:
This dress does not appeal to us, we didn’t like the goth-ish vibe it gave off and we weren’t a fan of the metal-looking details on it. Some people could pull it off, maybe, but it just didn’t work for us on Katy Perry.
AWESOME!:
This dress is super cool! Solange Knowles rocks this techno-looking dress! We were skeptical at first, but we’ve grown to love it! It fit this year’s theme, of technology, perfectly!
